Institute For a Better Tomorrow

The Institute For a Better Tomorrow (IFBT) collects and sponsors ideas, proposals, and projects that are immediately actionable, by independents, realizing benefits for individuals and society, starting within 24 hours or less, rather than waiting for a far off future.

 

IFBT efforts span a wide spectrum and are often multidisciplinary. While each has it's own focus, the end result of each of these has a somewhat common demoninator - to make tomorrow better than today. Even if just by a little bit.

Initiatives

In alphabetical order, here are current IFBT recommended efforts that you can immediately use to start improving your life:

  • BarCamp - organize your own conference with a just in time agenda set by attendees.
  • Body Optimization - healthy is not good enough. push yourself to be as capable as you can be.
  • Email Reduction - stop wasting time with email, evolve your communications
  • Microformats - liberate your data and move/sync it where you want it, when you want it
  • PersonalUniform - make getting dressed more efficient by reducing the cognitive load of the problem of choice.
